Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I love Qdoba for the food, flavors, price and speedy service. I have yet to find a location that I can trust. Check your reciept and question the price before you pay. This visit is the second time I have been overcharged at this location. I will think twice about my next visit, to gauge whether I feel like dealing with a potentail hassle. Good food but beware. Parking sucks here. too many businesses and apartments for the tiny parking lot.

Qdoba does a fine job. I have never been disappointed with them. This place can be a challenge to park at sometimes... shared space with a couple of other busy lunchtime establishments. So.... have them deliver! We did. : ) We ordered a Taco Bar. You get a meat and bean choice. Then they set you up with virtually everything you would see behind the counter at Qdoba. They also provide four chaffing dishes and sternos, all needed utensils, and add several kinds of chips/shell/tortillas. In essence, it is a taco/nacho/burrito/bowl bar. Awesome. The chicken was great as usual. Green and red salsas very flavorful. And the guacamole was awesome.

Qdoba is the place you go if you would like a loaded and sloppy burrito that will most likely explode or collapse halfway through the meal. With increased prices, the burrito is definitely the way to go given that queso and guacamole are included in the price. The other options just aren't worth it especially the Pick 2 which gives you probably 1/3 the portion of two entrees. This location tends to be understaffed and can have a very long line and crowded parking lot during lunch hours. Again, if you enjoy overloading your burrito, this is the place for you. Just be sure you bring a fork and plenty of napkins!

I'm a Chipotle girl at heart but a friend wanted Mexican and it was literally freezing and this place is across the street from me. I got the grilled chicken bowl which seemed smaller in size to me than Chipotle's. My server seemed to skimp on the rice? The cashier almost didn't believe there *was* rice in my bowl. I personally didn't like the vegetables they used for fajita vegetables except the onion. Nice that guacamole isn't extra. The inside of the restaurant seemed nice and clean enough when we ate there yesterday for lunch. The server and cashier were actually pretty nice and cracked jokes with me and my friend. Decent meal, decent price - I'm just a Chipotle addict.

The food is what the staff isn't: mediocre. I'm not sure if these employees are sleep-deprived or have simply been testing out the medicinal properties of a certain plant a little too liberally, but they tend to mope about. As fun as it is to be stared at with dead eyes and experience a lack of basic human interaction, there's simply nothing about the $8 burrito - which is prepared in a way that makes me believe this location is preparing for some sort of famine in which small rations will be the norm - that makes me want to ever visit this place again.

The burrito chain trifecta tasting is now complete. Qdoba is different from Chipotle and Panchero's in that they offer a wider variety of items, such as gumbo, nachos, etc. in addition to burritos and tacos, but in the end Chipotle comes out on top overall despite the smaller selection of ingredients, because those ingredients are of higher quality. I got a steak burrito which was satisfying, but similar to the burritos I make myself with store-bought salsa, tortillas, and meat cooked with a random assortment of spices that I think are Mexican. Admittedly, I did not try the queso sauce that Qdoba boasts sets them apart, but in terms of the standard burrito, it's acceptable, and nothing more.

Prices have increased way too much!! Of late the servers here seem so robotic. Even their greetings are robotic. Restrooms - the less said the better no ventilation and smell horrible!! No free Wi-Fi. Why am I still going here??

Public Service Announcement: Qdoba now charges for guac and queso even if you dont want it! They advertise that their burritos are all inclusive and that you dont get charged extra if you want guac or queso, but they fail to mention that this puts the price of a chicken burrito over $8.00, even if you dont want these items. I now go to chipotle and spend a lot less for a better burrito. a side note: my AT&T phone does not get a LTE signal in this bomb shelter of a building, and they do not offer WiFi.

The food is just okay. I was not so impressed. Average burritos. The rice is pretty good, but that's about it. I haven't really had the urge to come back. Would rather eat at Chipotle or Panchero's.

Not the freshest of food, nor the friendliest of services. Mainly due to the lack of students on north campus compared to central. The turnover on the food is quite a bit lacking, and the service can be a lot better.

The design of this place is weird... you walk in, turn right and go through another door, then there is this long 'hall' you walk through to order your meal... on your way, you'll pass the restroom to the right and they have seating along the wall... totally different layout versus their other Ann Arbor locations. Other than that, everything else is the same as other Qdoba's in town.

With a Chiptole on State St., qdoba doesn't get much love. Tucked away in the back of north campus where not many people ever venture, the food is not too fresh and there are never more than five people there at a time. Although I prefer qdoba ovet Chiptole, I cannot say the same in this particular case.

Being a student living on North Campus, I needed to find a cheap burrito place that was to my liking. While this is not the best value that you can find for Mexican food, it will certainly do the trick. The food is fantastic. I am not a huge fan of the rice. But, that's simply a personal preference.
